Busbars

We are one of Finland’s leading manufacturers of busbars, and our customers include many of the leading companies in the industry. Our experience in the manufacture of busbars is very extensive, and we offer our customers a wide range of options in terms of materials and material grades, dimensions as well as cutting, punching and bending.

Our range includes both standard size profiled busbars and customized busbars. We work with both thick flat and thin sheet products, which can be very versatile according to the customer’s requirements. Our flexible production allows us to manufacture small, medium and large series in a cost-effective manner.

As a rule, busbars are made of copper. Another frequently used and nowadays increasingly popular material is aluminium, which is lighter and cheaper, but has a lower electrical conductivity than copper. The choice of the material for the busbar is influenced by a number of factors which should be taken into account at the design stage, as they often have a decisive influence on the price of the finished product. In addition to the material, it is important to carefully design the shape, flexibility and bending of the busbar.

Our busbars are used in applications such as

  • distribution centres
  • control centres
  • transformers
  • electric motors
  • generators.

Thin sheet components

The materials we use in the manufacture of thin sheet are copper, aluminium, steel and stainless steel, with some brass. Our production is highly diversified, using modern technologies that allow us to process a wide range of parts.

Both laser cutting and punching can be used. With bending technologies, we can work on pieces with many different variations at the same time, from many different directions. With modern technologies, it is possible to machine a wide range of parts. It is also possible to produce small batches without separate long set-up times. This allows products to be manufactured quickly and as cost-effectively as possible. Together with our professional design team, we will find the best solutions for your needs.

Insulation

Insulators allow busbars to be installed closer together in a smaller space. We use plastic and fibreglass materials, shrink sleeves and electrical insulation powder paints. With our long experience, we can help you find the right insulation solution for your project in a cost-effective way.
